Running that’s actually enjoyable
Don’t like running? Maybe no one’s shown you how to do it for the fun of it.
Slow jogging is running at a pace where you can still hold a conversation. No gasping for air, no racing, no gritting your teeth. I’ll show you how to start – and how not to stop.

“I wish I’d known about this 30 years ago.”
Hi, I’m Michał.
I’ve been running for almost thirty years. For most of that time – badly. Injuries, breaks, comebacks. No joy, plenty of teeth-gritting. I had coaches and training plans, but the pattern never changed. Eventually I decided that’s just how it is: running is something you get through, not something you enjoy.
Then I came across slow jogging – the method developed by Prof. Hiroaki Tanaka. Short stride, easy pace, landing on the midfoot. It sounded too simple to work. And yet – I started getting to know running all over again: learning the technique, listening to my body, running slower. And somewhere along the way I caught myself running farther, more freely, and doing it for the pleasure of it. For the first time in years.
And then something happened that I never expected. Me – someone who never believed he’d cross a marathon finish line – crossed it. And then I ran farther than I’d ever thought I could.
Ever since, I keep saying the same thing: I wish someone had shown me this right at the start.
In 2018 I earned my slow jogging instructor certification. Every week I run free demo sessions in Warsaw. For years I ran without any joy, until I finally found it – and I’ll gladly show you how you can find it too.

Run slow. On purpose.
Slow jogging is for you if running mostly reminds you of gasping through PE class – and you feel like finding out whether it can be different. For you if you’re getting back into movement after a break or an injury, and this time you’d rather do it sensibly. And for you if your body no longer forgives everything, and you have no intention of giving up on staying active.
And sometimes it’s simply about going for a run and a chat – about running, health, nature, life. That’s slow jogging too.
See what slow jogging is about
Want to find out whether running really can be enjoyable? The best way is to feel it in your own legs. I run regular, free group sessions in Warsaw, but you can also arrange an individual session with me, or one for a small group – including for companies.
You can pick up the technique even from the professor’s book, but in a one-on-one session we’ll correct any posture mistakes and make sure the elements of the technique actually stick.
No memberships, no commitments, no 12-week plan, no pressure.

Come and see
Want to see what it looks like in practice? Come for a run with us. Since 2018 I’ve been running a regular, free demo group: easy pace, relaxed atmosphere, no sign-ups – and a good chance to see, at your own pace, whether it’s your thing.

Ask me
Tell me where you are with your running – just starting out, coming back, or it’s just not working. I’ll reply myself, like a real person, and together we’ll figure out what’s next.
